A few days ago, Vivo launched its new V70 series smartphone, the Vivo V70 Elite, in India on February 19, 2026. Its base variant starts at Rs 51,999. High Performance Chipset: The Vivo V70 Elite is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (4 nm) with an Adreno 735 GPU, which offers 1862383 (1.8 M+) antutu score for better performance and is capable of running 120fps BGMI gaming smoothly.

Higher RAM & ROM: This phone has high-performance 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 8GB Extra Virtual RAM and 256GB UFS-4.1 storage, which is ideal for 120fps gaming. However, this V70 smartphone supports only 90fps BGMI gaming. Via software updates, v70 Elite supports 120fps BGMI gameplay.

High Refresh Rate Display: A 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display, which offers a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals, with a 2392 x 1080 pixel resolution.

Its outdoor visibility is excellent. When I play BGMI in sunlight, the Vivo V70 Elite’s 5000 nits peak brightness delivers a bright, clear visual. 

Overall, the Vivo V70 Elite offers a vibrant, smooth, and bright display that is ideal for gaming, especially for BGMI, COD Mobile and Genshin Impact.

Touch Sampling Rate: We don’t know the exact touch rate. But its smooth animation and quick response describe that this phone has a 480Hz plus touch sampling rate.

Excellent Battery Life: This phone has a 6500mAh battery, delivering long-lasting performance. which means extended periods of BGMI, COD and Genshin Impact gaming sessions.

Fast Charging: V70 Elite supports 90W fast charging. which takes 45 minutes, 20-100% charge.

Vivo V70 Elite Benchmark Score: The Vivo V70 Elite has a higher benchmark score than its predecessor, the Vivo V70.

Vivo V70 Elite Specific Game Performance

BGMI Gameplay

The Vivo V70 Elite supports five different graphics settings, but I tested  Smooth and Ultra Extreme for BGMI gameplay for the best 120fps results.

• Setting: During my one-hour BGMI gameplay, Vivo V70 Elite delivered an impressive performance with the smooth + ultra extreme settings.
• Performance: I experienced minimal lag and no significant heating issues. It maintained a consistent frame rate, delivering 117-121 FPS during TDM matches and 112-118 FPS on Erangel, Sanhok, and Livik matches.
• Frame Drop: Occasional frame drops to 80 FPS, noticed during jumps on the hot drop place. But it quickly returned to its smooth 120FPS performance.
• Battery & Heating: After one hour of BGMI gaming, the 6500mAh battery drains 13-16%. The phone gets slightly warm, but never uncomfortably hot, with a temperature around 39°C, thanks to its advanced cooling system.

Call of Duty Mobile Gameplay

In Call of Duty Mobile, I cranked up the settings to very high with the Ultra setting, and it delivered consistent 117-121FPS in multiplayer modes. The gyroscope works smoothly, and the haptic feedback adds to the immersive viewing experience.

However, in longer sessions over an hour, I noticed slight heating near the camera module, but nothing that affected performance.

Free Fire Max Gameplay

Free Fire Max runs at Max 90 FPS Ultra + High graphics settings and delivers 87- 90fps through all matches. I don’t notice lag or heating issues, even in long gaming sessions.

Genshin Impact Gameplay

On Medium settings, V70 Elite support High 60 FPS gameplay. The average frame rate for the first 30 minutes is around 58 fps, then settles to 50–54 fps in dense Mondstadt/Liyue areas, and touch response feels crisp.

User Experience & Considerations

The Vivo V70 Elite’s overall gameplay is Smooth and responsive across popular games like BGMI, Free Fire, and COD Mobile, with consistent frame rates and minimal lag. The 120Hz AMOLED display enhances clarity and fast action. Best suited for medium settings on stable Genshin Impact gameplay.

Thermal Performance

This phone’s vapour chamber cooling keeps the device cool during extended play. After 45–60 minutes of gameplay, temperatures reach around 42°C, with only slight warmth near the camera module. Thermal throttling is minimal, ensuring a high frame rate delivered even in longer sessions.

OriginOS 6

OriginOS 6 offers a clean, fluid interface with Game Mode optimisations like the Funtouch OS 15. Navigation is quick, animations feel snappy, and in-game tools like performance overlays help monitor FPS and network stability. Multitasking while gaming is reasonably smooth.

Audio & Haptic

The single stereo speaker delivers clear and loud audio, enough for casual gaming. Haptics are responsive and add satisfying feedback during shots or hits in action games, enhancing immersion.

Network Connection

The Vivo V70 Elite offers stable 5G connectivity with low latency in online games. Wi-Fi 6 ensures quick and reliable signals even in crowded networks. During my playtests, ping stayed consistent, giving a smooth experience in multiplayer matches without sudden drops.
